March is National Nutrition Month, a time to celebrate food and nutrition!
We know that physical health is a part of your mental health and what we eat can so greatly impact our physical health- so it’s important to be mindful of what we’re putting in our bodies- especially for those who may be at a high risk of health conditions.
For people with diabetes in particular, choosing healthy foods in appropriate portion sizes can help to manage blood sugars. Many people also struggle to afford healthy foods or find fresh fruits or vegetables in their neighborhood. The resources below offer quick, healthy, portion-sized meal ideas that can help solve the question “What’s for dinner?” including some budget friendly tips.
